Aspects of Empress
 

This dreamcatcher is called 'Aspects of Empress' and embodies the energy of The Empress tarot card, the third card in the major arcana in tarot. At her best, The Empress represents the Divine Feminine within us, expressed through the energies of the archetypal mother, the matriarchal goddess, connection to nature, fertility, creative expression, sensuality, nurturing, and generative forces. In this state, she signifies abundance in all its forms. 
But as with everything, there is light and there is shadow. When The Empress is not aligned with her Divine Feminine, she expresses the opposing traits of the Wounded Feminine. Here she loses her natural balance and stability within, becoming desperate for love and looking for it in all the wrong places. When we are out of balance with our inner Empress we withdraw and neglect where there should be nurturing. Our motherly instincts are gone, even destroyed or actively prevented. We are insecure and needy. This dreamcatcher reminds us to move towards, or remain, in the gentle, serenity of our Divine Feminine, as expressed by the upright Empress.
